Collegix Registrar/Student Records enables you to setup and manage your unique student enrollment process from matriculation through graduation and beyond.  Working hand in glove with the Collegix Faculty and Student Access components it facilitates a self service environment where the registrar's staff become true resource people rather than data entry clerks.


Registration is a snap with Collegix.  Students register on-line with pre and co-requisite checking.  Advisor approval is an option based on a parameter that you set.  Invoices can be created on-line or in a batch process.  Students can make payments on-line.


Grades are entered on-line throught the Faculty Self Service module.   Students can view grades and transcripts through their Student Access Module.  Advisors and administrators have immediate access to advisee grades.  Students can evaluate their instructors on-line.   Early viewing of grades can be tied to completion of each student's evaluation.   Instructors and administrators can view the results on-line.


Students and their advisors can view and analyze academic transcripts on-line.  They can check the progress they are making toward degrees, majors, minors and certificates.  They can look at "what if" scenarios for other majors or minors they are interested in.   Students can identify the classes they are currently planning to take for the rest of their academic carreer, giving the student, their advisor, the registrar and the academic departments a rich planning tool.


Integration with word processing and electronic mailing systems allows administrators and instructors to quickly author and send individual or group based communications.  The need to produce and distribute reports in the Registrar's Office has been drastically reduced.  Instructors and Administrators can quickly view class rosters, class counts and other information using their web access self service modules.  The system also provides for publishing standard reports like FTE, Faculty Load, Ipeds, etc.
